The candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Edo Governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has commiserated with a former Deputy Speaker of Edo Assembly, Rt. Hon. Festus Ebea, over the demise of his brother, Mr. Francis Ebea.
Mr. Francis Ebea passed on in the early hours of Wednesday, August 19, 2020.
In a statement by John Mayaki, the Chairman of the APC Media Campaign Council, Ize-Iyamu prayed for the late Francis Ebea’s departed soul to find rest in God, while offering condolences to Rt. Hon. Festus Ebea whom he described as a trusted friend and ally, and other members of the Ebea family.
The statement read: “I wish to extend my deepest condolences to a trusted friend of many years, Rt. Hon. Festus Ebea, over the sad demise of his older brother, Mr. Francis Ebea who was described as a generous and kind man by all who knew him.”
“May the Lord grant him eternal rest in his bosom and the members of the Ebea family the fortitude to bear the loss.”
