The Edo APC candidate for the forthcoming governorship poll, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has assured the people of Ekosodin community that a well equipped health centre will be established in the locality upon his assumption of office as Governor.Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu stated this on Monday during his party’s ward to ward campaign to Ekosodin in Oluku ward of Ovia NE LGA.Ize-Iyamu said the promise became necessary after he consulted with the 3 Ovia lawmakers representing the locality comprising, Hon. Dennis Idahosa, Hon. Dumez Ugiagbe and Hon. Vincent Uwadiae.Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu decried the collapsed infrastructure in the community, a place he resided as a UNIBEN student decades ago and vowed to fully deploy his SIMPLE Agenda to transform the community.On his part, Hon. Dennis Idahosa informed the elated crowd that prior to the 2019 elections he promised to build a Secondary school in Ekosodin community because they made the demand. “I have met with your community leaders to synergise on the commencement of the school project and i am happy to inform you all that work will start tomorrow”, he said.In a related development, the APC Candidate berated the outgoing Governor Obaseki for victimizing Edo citizens because of their refusal to join the PDP. He said Obaseki went to closed down the borrow pit of an asute businessman, Mr. Omoregbe who promptly pays his taxes and other entitlements to the state government.Highpoint of the event, was the decamping of some PDP leaders, Mr. Godwin Inneh and Mr. Johnson Omoragbon who led hundreds of their supporters in the APC.
