An actor (often actress for females) is a person who portrays a character in an act or performance on stage called drama or in film, television, radio.
The word actor refers to a person who acts regardless of gender, while actress refers specifically to a female person who acts; therefore a female can be referred to by either term.
In Nigeria, actors work in the film industry, called Nollywood. Many persons dream of becoming actors but do not know how to begin. Do you want to act on stage or a film? Have you ever dreamed of one day becoming a famous Nollywood actor?
